How Emotions Harm Your Body

Freely experienced and judgement-free emotions flow freely. However, on the other hand, negative emotions that are often triggered by fear are also able to zap mental energy and good hope. Which eventually can lead to health problems, such as hypertension or indigestion.
It is essential to recognize and identify your thoughts and emotions and you should also be aware of their influence on each other, on your overall health, behavioral habits, and even relationships.

Here is how emotions can harm your body:

ANGER: It weakens the liver
SHOCK: Shock is particularly debilitating to the kidneys and heart.

FEAR:  The fear weakens the kidneys. Thinking about your future can cause anxiety which over time drains the kidneys of yin, yang, and qi (the basis of much Chinese philosophy and medicine.), and you can eventually get stuck with a chronic weakness.

WORRY: Worrying can weaken the stomach. Worrying and obsessing about a certain topic can have an impact on the spleen, and thus stagnate its qi.

SADNESS or GRIEF: They weaken the lungs, producing fatigue, shortness of breath, crying, or depression.

STRESS: Is able to weaken the heart and brain. Chronic stress influences the overall function of the organism, which causes severe health problems.
